Habitat for Humanity Receives $2,000 Grant from GEACF
The Greater Edwardsville Area Community Foundation here recently presented a check to the Edwardsville/Glen Carbon Chapter of Habitat for Humanity for a grant awarded to them to help with their latest build at 4 Saddlewood in Glen Carbon.
The Greater Edwardsville Area Community Foundation (GEACF) awarded a $2,000 grant to the chapter of Habitat for Humanity. “We are thrilled by the Foundation’s support of our organization,” said the Chapter’s Tresurer, Bob Kurilla. “It is incredible how the Greater Edwardsville Area Community Foundation supports so many deserving non-profits in our area, and we are grateful to be one of them.”
GEACF Awards Grant to Metro East Humane Society
The Greater Edwardsville Area Community Foundation recently presented a check to the Metro East Humane Society for a grant awarded to them to help build a critical retaining wall last Fall.
The Greater Edwardsville Area Community Foundation (GEACF) awarded a $5,000 grant to Metro East Humane Society (MEHS). “We are very grateful to the Foundation for their support,” said Kathy Turner, Executive Director of MEHS. “Because of the generosity of organizations like the Greater Edwardsville Area Community Foundation we were able to build a critical retaining wall at the back of our property that houses our shelter located in Edwardsville.”
