The Foundation Awards Grant Money to Edwardsville P.A.C.T.
The Greater Edwardsville Area Community Foundation here recently presented a check to the Edwardsville P.A.C.T. Program (Police and Children Together) to help support six children in attending their summer camp.
The Foundation awarded a $300 grant to the organization that helps assist youth in making the right choices and to help them avoid involvement in delinquency. “We are really thankful for the Foundation’s support of our organization,” said P.A.C.T. camp instructor Officer Joy Davis. “They support so many deserving organizations in the area, and we were excited to be chosen as one of them.”
The GEACF Awards $5,000 Grant to Local Habitat for Humanity Chapter
The Greater Edwardsville Area Community Foundation here recently presented a check to the Edwardsville/Glen Carbon Chapter of Habitat for Humanity for a grant awarded to them to help with their upcoming build in the area.
The Greater Edwardsville Area Community Foundation (GEACF) awarded a $5,000 grant to the chapter of Habitat for Humanity. “We are thrilled by the Foundation’s support of our organization,” said the Chapter’s President, Trish Cheatham. “It is incredible how the Greater Edwardsville Area Community Foundation supports so many deserving non-profits in our area, and we are grateful to be one of them.”
